So, got internet hooked up... earlier this week I think? So I figured I should throw up a post. And coincidentally I just beat Persona 4, so here's my final thoughts, with hopefully not too many spoilers.

The game itself is pretty fantastic. Ended up playing on "Expert" mode, which meant that the enemies did tons more damage and spammed attacks more. Like the first real boss spammed her "fire kills everything" attack on all my characters. On normal it takes off about 100-180, and your characters have about 300+ HP. On Expert it does 250-300+, but other than those two things, Expert is pretty much the same, and was a blast to play through.

The plot interested me a bit more than Persona 3's, because there was plot. It's basically a supernatural murder mystery (and I called out the killer early on sadly...), which also deals with your character's innermost feelings, which sounds lame, but I liked it a lot. One of the reasons I prefer it to P3's was that it moved along a little faster, since it wasn't constricted to moon schedules. It improved on the gameplay by allowing direct control of your characters, with the loss (to me) of feeling like you were pretty much your main dude.

The only other gripe I have is getting any of the good endings (there are three endings, good, normal, and bad) is tedious, especially if you screw up, since you have to sit through a ton of dialogue, but overall, the game was good, I enjoyed it, and now I really need to beat Persona 3, then move on... to something else...
