For those who care to know, here's my schedule for the next 2 months:

now - May 23: classes and 4 finals
now - May 28: work on 15-page paper that I haven't started writing
May 28 - June 20: Germany!
June 20 - June 23: Lyon, saying goodbye
June 24: Philly!

My brother finally changed the lyrics in his profile. He has lyrics to his girlfriend (Alycia). The last song he picked was deeply disturbing, especially to his sister. This new one is about holding hands and I find it much nicer ( Read more... )

Not so miserable anymore, 1 1/2 finals down, 2 1/2 to go. Of course the ones that are left are the hardest ones/parts, but oh well. Next Thursday come lunchtime I'll be done. And I'm rewarding myself with a trip to London and Dublin! Stay tuned for more on birgitinlyon.

I'm back in Lyon and thoroughly miserable (read: jetlagged and homesick). Last time it wore off in about a week but this time when the week is over, I have exams to look forward to. Bugger.

I need someone(s) to live with next year. I want to live with 4 or fewer people, somewhere off campus but close. And these people have to be willing to clean something once a week, including the bathroom, the kitchen and the dishes. Less than 3 weeks till I'm home! I wonder if it's a good sign that I'm this excited. I also wonder if I'd be as excited if I wasn't coming back afterwards. I'm actually not looking forward to coming back - I'm guessing I'll be homesick again. But at the same time I don't want to not come back, so I guess that's good ( Read more... )
