Name: Ken Ichijouji

Grade: Junior (but he does take some higher level classes)
Activities: Soccer, Computer club
Background: Ken is a rather shy, quiet, and smart kid. He tries to be friendly, but he's not very familiar with the concept of friendship or talking to people, so don't expect him to go out of his way to be outgoing. He is, however, very helpful when people ask, and when he does get close to you, he's not very willing to let it go. He also really enjoys soccer and technology.
Most of his problems come from his experiences earlier in his life. His family comprised of his parents and his child prodigy older brother, whom Ken felt inferior to. His parents always focused all of their attention on older brother Osamu, encouraging those feelings of inferiority. Even so, Ken bounced between loving his older brother and hating him.
When Osamu died in a car crash, Ken's parents were left grieving, and Ken was left ignored once again. In an attempt to get attention, he started to study obsessively and worked hard to try and be as smart and skilled as Osamu was. His parents responded, and started pressuring him to do even more with their praise. He worked so hard that he started to disreguard other people, considering them something only to be used and discarded once he got what he wanted from them. He became callous and unfeeling, caring only about how successful he was in everything he did.
But none of this could continue for long. He eventually had a severe mental breakdown, ending up spending a few weeks in a deep coma. After that, both he and his parents were reluctant to do much of anything. His grades slipped, and he could no longer withstand the grueling schedule that he had kept to keep up with his exclusive prep school. So he was transferred to this school, where he has the chance to start brand new.
Very few people know about this story.
Character Relationships:
- Daisuke Motomiya: Ken got to know Daisuke while he was still playing soccer for his prep school. He used to find him annoying, but now leans on him heavily while he tries to make his life normal again. Daisuke was one of the first to drag him out of his depression after he came out of his coma.
- Hikari Kamiya: He's known her for a while too, and is going to prom with her. That's all I know for sure right now. :3
- Cissnei: They share a few Senior classes, and he likes to talk to her. She seems to be a friendly level headed person.
- Ritsuka Aoyagi: They're in the computer club together, and both share the same sort of shy, damaged personality.
- Kagome Higurashi: She likes to talk to him, but he's a little shy around her. He doesn't know her as well as he knows Daisuke, and she's a little excitable for him to feel comfortable
- Tamaki Suoh: Tamaki is also very excitable, and Ken's unsure of how to handle that at times, but he's been very helpful in getting him used to the school. Ken feels grateful to him for that.
- Ciel Phantomhive: Ken is a little wary of Ciel. He pokes his nose into Ken's business a little too often for him to be comfortable with it.
