If you want to stick with archaeology, I'm sure you've heard of bajr.org, even if most of the jobs are word of mouth.

The Wicked Chicken is indeed rather good, if a bit cramped.Sympathy on the grating music, and the lack of cake.

I envy your finds. The poxy site I've been on for the past two months has had no finds or features of note. It rots, as does the weather, and my experience of archaeology.

The new Galway to Ballinasloe road in and around Athenry. 'Twas a cashel, and it was actually sterile, not a feature inside or out, some post-med pottery, 19th century probably and some animal bone. Two months of that'd drive you mad.
