This post should have been posted earlier, but I got tired yesterday and then I embarassingly lost about SIX HOURS obsessively watching SYTYCD clips on Youtube and reading TWOP recaps. UGH AWESOME DANCING <333.

It still strikes me as very strange that this is it for the series. When the last book came out (and ooooh, how I bothered my mother with my ( Read more... )

ALBUS SEVERUS HAD BIEBER HAIR. I DIED. OUR THEATRE DIED. WHAT HAVE WE WROUGHT ON THE WORLD, CANADIANS. (So adorbs.) I like how they made grown-up Harry look a lot like James, too, however awkward the makeup was.

I totally agree re: Snape's death, I loved the way they filmed it, it was so intense and scary, I was legit horrified, Mariyya was flinching.

I FORGOT THE FOREST SCENE in my review but YES, YES SO GOOD.

...OH SHIT YOU'RE RIGHTTTT XDD. Harry actually looked the best of all the "oldies"-- I mean Emma looked absolutely the same, they gave Bonnie "mom hair" and Rupert a weird hair part?? I shudder to think how it looked like before they reshot it. I need to hunt down a screenshot of Scorpius though-- need to doublecheck if I am still on that nextgen shipping train (well regardless of pairings it must be written that Teddy Lupin should be getting a load of tail).

I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT, HARRY POTTER MOVIES re: Snape's death. Kind of like the utterly beautiful birds & cages motif they had in the movie version of Half-Blood Prince, ahh that was brilliant (AND SAD).

The forest scene was extremely memorable to me in the books to begin with-- I open at the close jdfhjkafh once Harry/the reader realized what exactly that meant, AHHHH.

DRAAAAAAAAAAGON/HAPPINESS FOREVERRRRR <33

OH I AM SO ON THE NEXTGEN SHIPPING TRAIN (SHIPPING SHIP? SHIPPING FRIGATE? SHIPPING BICYCLE-BUILT-FOR-A-LOT?) AND I agree re: Teddy Lupin. Clearly. IT IS WRITTEN.

Ugh now I just want to read 'Coda to an Epilogue' over and over and over.

Ooooh, I loved the motifs in HBP. Gorgey <3

If it were not for his awesome Metamorphagus skills alone (and yes I first typed that as METAPHORPAGUS), he would deserve an awesome life just by virtue of the universe having shat on him so hard as a baby. Though I would imagine that Andromeda and Harry would be excellent caretakers (you know Harry would be possessed by the compulsive need to Make Something Right for the kid).
