You have to really wonder about the integrity of an election where most of the ballots cast were absentee

yep - Sam Seaborn lost that seat in the 4th season of West Wing. This was after the Democratic nominee died and still won. It was the only time a Democrat ever won that seat.

yeah, even California has Republicans. In fact, Orange County is statistically the whitest county in America and ranks in the top 5 Rrepublican.

still....when you see elections in most other places that have an absentee vote of about 10% and the you see this one with an absentee vote of close to 60%, you gotta wonder.

In the south, the GOP uses absentee votes like their own personal ballot box stuffer. I wonder if the same is true in southern California?

My implication is that Republicans are likely to use their own devious tactics on themselves in primaries as well as against Democrats in Generals.

Of course, I have nothing but circumstancial and annecdotal evidence to support this suspicion, that is why it is not elevated to a claim and remains a suspicion
