You know sometimes people get associated to certain things? Reno to Rude, Barney to his cult children, Simon to Garfunkel.....I somehow got associated to this ahahhahaha
It all started out during the time I did the pope....ok not the REAL pope...the trinity blood pope....ok not doing him....ok you get the point....but ya, twas many a merry men thought that thy was'eth a female! Yesss, and i probably scarred them by talking to them in a semi-manly voice Xd But it was fun, a good, albeit sadistic experience...for me XD
Then there was the lolita haloween cross-dressing stint, two lesbos kept ogling me....ok on to the next one
So riri put up some make-up test shots of date masamune(oh god i love him oh god i wanted him to be the first word-*slaps self)
And my awesome best friend, Michael Cheung I KNOW YOU READ THIS LIVEJOURNAL- yep he started going all gay on me lol, pretty fun stuff XD
Then there are the few times that people in public thought I was a girl, or thought i was a butch and stuff....like at the temple....at shopping malls, from my hairdresser.....
Then people in my school thought i was my friend who is a bang ahhaha, that was cool....For like 3 days, people kept calling "JEAN! JEAN! HELLO!" to which I was like er...no im not Jean! And they would just freak out hahahaha
So ya, I guess sometimes people just think I look like a girl, or a bang, oh well, its fun hahaha, next is number 2~

I guess cause i used to fanguy him back then when Kubo wasnt shooting himself up and going bat-shit insane haha, but ya, i really liked him as a character, idk he had substance i guess haha, too bad he died...and then came back! And then died again.....technically.....it broke my heart T.T But ya, i really liked him, I would love to say more but....thats how short the time was when he appeared....=(
3 BUT ACTUALLY IS NUMBER 1 1/2 IN MY HEART MASAMUNE OMFG I LOVE YOU
Oh god I remember when i played the game 2 YEARS before people found out...and 4 YEARS BEFORE THE ANIME CAME OUT DEAR GOD
I loved him since I saw those sexy hands holding those swords of his...*swoons* He was just so awesome, plus he was voiced by my favvvvvv seiyuu Kazuya Nakai!!! Great voice, bod, weapons, personality, makes for a gooddddddd addiction! I bought tonsss of stuff related to him....figs, keychains, straps, I almost wanted to but a pillow....but that would be weird......
I DID do abittt of research on the actual person in history...so he was considered wild actually because he accepted the western influence and helped spread it....hence the rets pardi here we go lines and the tude XD
So I was kinda hyped that I managed to cos him fairly well, and that kinda contributed to making my year! But anyway, I genuinely liked him as a person, cause back then I was quite the hardcore gamer and avid figure collector(He was the first PVC figure I got)..I literally went mad tracking down the manga and made orders just to get it in haha, and then found out there were many series T.T but anyway, the game had some good bro bonding sessions behind it...so ya, good stuff =)
4:REVO/FIGS
If you come over to my place, I would have probably showed you two things. One is the view cause I live on the 22nd floor, two is my collection...over a very short period of like..6 years? I probably spent 7000k on the stuff....generally gunpla, figs....It links to the GAR factor...cause surprisingly...I got alot...alot...alot of guy figs =/ ...there is a story behind it too
As some of you might know, my folks have split since I was young, but anyway, my mom used to pamper..nay, SPOIL me with toys...expensive legos, figures, you name it, she loved me, and didnt hold back...I used to have like 9 big plastic containers of toys that took up a whole room...and then lined up more IN my room...on shelves..in cupboards....ya...you get it...I had alotta toys
So anyway, I kinda associated collecting...to my mother...god knows why...but I felt good about it, it made me feel like even though she isnt staying with me, all the little superheroes, creatures, robots looked after me for her, ahhaha, kinda lame, but thats how i felt/feel?
So anyway soon after...about 2 years (oh btw i started collecting when I was like sec 2) i started collecting more and more....one line that really got me was revo, Dante was the first figure i got from that line haha. Rika said revo most probably because I helped her fix her Dante, but the poor girl had to go all the way to my place to get it fixed T.T anyway, back then the line just started, and was kinda crappy...but as of now its much better! So yea, it is a major collection...btw Rika or Joe or Karu if you want some backdrops for your TTGL revos, i found some of a site and downloaded them...you can print them on hard card, and fold them up to become backdrops, pretty cool stuff, just pm me on msn or sth ahha
Im also a mecha nut, and of course Sentinel helped me out with Gunpla, teaching me some cool stuff, bringing me to cheap and good sources, it was good times XD although know im just lazy and rely on figs T.T But I have a fair share of gunpla kits XD And i introduced some of my other friends to it and taught them the ropes too, good memories haha
Ya, another thing i kinda collected abit was Transformers...back then when Rapidculture was at Cineleisure I got most of my fix through the friends I got there, Dickson, KYQ, Jo and the rest helped me quiteeeeee alot haha, and some i searched for through my own connections and stuff...
Anyway all of that contributes to quite a massive collection...but all of them had some sorta connection to family or friends, so they mean alot to me, although the resale value isnt high cause i believe in taking them out of the boxes, i think the emotional value is enough =) besides, who can resist Yotsuba T.T

TBH this one is quite random! But I kinda get the link XD Im a guy, and im all for manly explosions and fighting robots and justice and strength and all things that make up the very essence of GAR
What can I say? I get GAR stuff like shows of whatever, I share it with everyone, they get stuff and share it with me, we laugh and take a beer, everyone is manly-ly happy
