I really enjoyed this. When I watched the movie, the relationship between Arthur and Eames always intrigued me because it's clear they're sort of in-it-together for the long run, even though they never come out and declare any sort of devotion or even real friendship for each other.

I think what I liked most about this was the fact that it brings Arthur to feel like he needs to quit doing it, and I like that Eames is good enough at all of it to be able to pick up on that and not want him to. It sort of has a bittersweet ending, but I kind of enjoy that too because it fits the whole feeling of the piece. <3

finalllly getting around to commenting, seeing as how i actually know what the heck you're talking about. ;)

anyway! LOVE this. it's truly brilliant. the characterization is spot on, and as always, your word choice is lovely.

i count myself immensely lucky that i've had a chance to see your writing skills grow, and adapt, and blossom into the gorgeous style they have now. i cannot wait to see how far you'll go.
