Well, see, it's ok to have totally fucked with someone's psyche because it was done at a time when society had no morals. Back then we used to convict people of capital crimes just because we didn't like the color of their skin. That doesn't mean those people now deserve a new trial, it just means that future crimes will be tried based on the new technologies that are available to us.
