The ant situation is now well in hand.  The little bastards are mostly dead, the few that aren't are busy taking borax back to the hive.

Good for you for tackling the ant situation! They are smart bastards. I had them a couple times in Oregon and it was amazing what they could find (whether it be sweets or the warms innards of my video-tape-rewinder way back when) and then find the shortest path to.

Since a lot of fandom people I know aren't posting much on LJ or DW anymore, I switched the random fandom flailings over to tumblr. With the tag system, it's much more like posting to an open messageboard that you can interact with anyone over. So kinda cool.

Shockingly, my username over there is 'Ickaimp'. Just look for the red winged squid.

Yeah, I started crossposting to DW awhile back, but there hasn't really been a switch to that. Plus now that I'm on a mac I find it a pain to post anything very complicated. I CAN handcode, but after getting spoiled by semagic I don't want to anymore. #firstworldproblems, I know. And there's not much fun on LJ besides fic comms. Most of my friends aren't posting much, we catch up via chat and e-mail.

Saaah. I still miss my old blogger blog. I am a fogey.
