It was because he loved him. As well as he got along with his comrades in his unit, none of their laughs were his, none of their smiles reached his heart, none of them were his Park Jungsu. He longed for his special angel to nag at him, to keep him going. It’s been so long that sometimes he wasn’t sure if the voice he heard in his head really did belong to Jungsu. Hearing the other’s voice from a television or stereo speaker wasn’t the same. That was Eeteuk’s voice, not Park Jungsu.
Only one more year and he could return to his angel. Return to that free falling hell known as the idol world. But he was sure he could handle it. He’d be right beside his leader, his heart, back in his position as the father of Super Junior, back to continue his free fall.
A deep breathe. The hum of lights. He wondered what the dorm sounded like right now. Would they sleeping? Playing games? Practicing? Were they even at the dorms right now? Were they getting enough rest, enough food to eat, or even enough time to just breathe? He wasn’t sure. If he was there he would be.
He would be there, once the radio programs had ended, to put his angel to sleep. He would be there to help cook ramen for his hard working members. He would be there to play with his dongsaengs. He would be there and that’s exactly where he wanted to be.
