summer.

I've not much use for Summer and I never have. It always looks so appealing when it's a few months, weeks, days off but when you're on the very brink of it -- It feels so suffocating, or something. Everything feels very close and there seems to be so much pressure on you and on everything. I never did quite know how to deal with Summer and leaving ( Read more... )

Your story does move slowly, but it's comfortably slow. I think that if you tried speeding it up any, you'd lose the entire thoughful element of it all.

And Eyes Open is absolutely wonderful. I saw it at my record store and began salvating. Plans... great, but not as great, I think.

I was rereading your story from the very first chapter, and I was just wondering if you watch Grey's Anatomy. The songs you use are very GA soundtrack. It's nice, though. How to Save a Life and The City Lights are topping my iTunes right now

Too true, actually. Whenever I have tried to make it move faster, the story, it's very obvious that I tried to speed it up and yeah -- It lacks the depth I always intend for it to have.

I absolutely watch Grey's Anatomy. I've no idea what I'm going to do when it returns in the autumn, because it's moving to Thursday's and I already watch too much television on Thursday evenings.

Anyway, I do watch it and it's funny that Grey's Anatomy and I have a similar taste in music. It may seem like I'm taking whatever songs they use on the show and throwing them into the story, but I honestly do love these artists and these songs, most of 'em long before Grey's Anatomy. The last couple of chapters have been inspired by the show's soundtrack, I will admit. But I don't mean for it to appear like I'm completely ripping the soundtrack off or something.

Thanks for the comment and for reading.!
