SHERLOCK
Just watched the last episode of Sherlock!!!!!! No one I know watches it and it's driving me mad that I can't text someone to talk so I'll just do it here.
I LOVE MORIARTY.
There. I said it. Ever since that four minute scene stealer he pulled at the very end of the first season I've been obsessed with the man. I adore Sherlock and this is by far my favorite version of Watson, hell I'm even pretty fond of Lestrade after the Hound of Baskerville episode but Moriarty, oh man! He's so crazy and evil and just perfect. I swear I had a mini heart attack every time he showed on the screen. Sherlock committed SUICIDE in the last episode and I still think Moriarty stole that whole rooftop scene. The whole 'Stayin Alive' problem, the final problem as he likes to call it, is just genius. Andrew Scott has moved to the top of my list of Actors I'm Most Impressed With, seriously.
Mycroft has always been my black sheep favorite but he took a great fall this season. I thought he was smarter than this, honestly, but first there was Irene Adler and then the great cock-up with Moriarty. Mycroft really couldn't compete. I'm interested to see what goes on with him next season.
I've read the books so I knew Sherlock was going to fake his death but I was still on the edge of my seat the whole last fifteen minutes. Martin Freeman is such an underrated actor, goodness that scene at the grave took my breath away. The perfect Watson. And the whole bit with Molly! I'm so glad they've rounded out her character a bit more. Especially in the last episode, oh man she was so wonderful. "You do count." EEEEE!!!! Fangirl moment. XD On the shipping front, I realize how ridiculous it is to ship Sherlock with anyone but if I had to then it would definitely be with Molly. Irene is a close second and Watson isn't even in the running because I love their bromance too much to change any aspect of it.
