I know, I've been pretty quiet online lately since coming back to the U.S. Part of the reason is that I'm currently living with my in-laws who do not have internet in their house (they're an older retired couple who have lived computer-free their whole lives and have no reason to change that). Where are you looking? Queens has so many nice neighborhoods, and the mix of cultures is fascinating.

Mainly in the Elmhurst/ Jackson Heights / Woodside area. My husband needs to be near the LIRR station in Woodside so he can commute out to his lab on Long Island.

All three of those are good. (I'm in Elmhurst and think it's great.) What about Flushing? They have an LIRR station there.

I love the food in Flushing, but the LIRR station there is not the right train line. I like Elmhurst alot though!
