second? these lines hit me so hard:
the other looks into the face of his friend, following the too-many wrinkles and trying to force him to look at him without words.
He doesn’t, he’s lost in his losses.
(the other is lost in what he’s trying to gain)
i never even thought of billy/charlie as being angsty before. it seemed like the fluffy couple, idk. but it's beautiful in its sadness.
also, the last line absolutely kills me.

But I have so many plotbunnies for this pairing, I just can't find the time or the inspiration to write them - plus my trouble with my OTP's is that I never feel like I am doing them justice.
