The venom in Edward’s mouth was almost dripping from the corners, the anger jolting through him like fire. He rushed at Quil, grabbing him by the back of the neck and slamming him forward.
“He isn’t yours. Never will be. I see what you’ve built inside your head, dog.”
Quil gasps, blood spilling from mouth. He tries to get up but Edward throws him against the brick wall, cracking his neck before walking over to him.
“This is worse than a school-boy crush. This is obsession. Jake will never want you.”
Edward takes hold oh Quil’s throat before he has a chance to speak, crushing with ease and closing his eyes as his body hits the ground. A growl breaks through the hushed sounds of Quil gasping for breath and Edward smiles while he watches the life leave him.
