Where did that come from? anonymous November 15 2004, 22:30:14 UTC
"fuckwit Rick O'Shea"? From what I remember, he pretty much respects you and other great Chinese rockers. His airhead on-air personality is all an act and Chinese adore him. Quite the jolly mellow fellow in real life. Can't cut a clown for being a clown, now can you?

It came from said airhead on-air personality, which to my ear goes way beyond innocent clowning into condescension. I also know someone hired by Rick "Nihao Are You" O'Shea to write his biography and this person, whose judgment I trust, went on at length about his outsize ego -- one all out of proportion to his not-so-crushing intellect, if that's not already evident in the fact that he hired a biographer at what, 40?

When is the after-Thanksgiving show airing? (refrain from the obvious, Kaisey). And please, keep up the nuanced open mindedness the left is known for, it becomes you. Especially when it comes to politics.

Info on your band, "Spring and Autumn" habergeist81 May 23 2005, 15:49:23 UTC
Hi Kaiser,

Scott Grohs here. I am a rabid heavy metal fan from back in the states, and first learned of your band, "Spring and Autumn", on the Globe Trekker program. I was just wondering if you have a web site or another place with some info on the band; even a concert review in English. Thanks.

Peace :)
