Jesus CHRIST i'm moving to California O.o~!

I just got hired for my first full time 3D job.

I'm leaving this Thursday morning.

I haven't been this nervous in a very long time.

Wish me luck I guess.

Be ready for anything when you get out there. Depending on where you wind up working, you can have a great time.

I've been through there. It's about 40 minutes East of downtown LA. A fairly fast growing city with plenty of cheap housing, relative to the rest of the state.

But it's very oppressively hot in the Summer. Be sure to get a good Energy Star rated air conditioner. You'll be needing it!

Other than that, it's a great entry into California life. You'll have access to the San Bernardino mountains for snow skiing in the Winter. Big Bear and Lake Arrowhead are very close by. And Palm Springs is about an hour's drive to the East. You have to see the low desert once in your life.

Sounds like a great opportunity!
