I can't believe I've ditched LJ for FB. I tend to have more thoughtful exchanges and more rewarding interaction on LJ, but for some reason FB is 'easier'. Is it the games? I don't know. Maybe part of it is that I can access FB at work but not LJ. At any rate, I need to catch up on LJ.

Would you like a proxy by which to access LJ, or would using that get you in trouble?

Thanks, but do you realize that you are proposing the circumvention of Department of Defense network security? Don't mean to be snarky, but I think you have your answer. :) Again, thanks for offering.

I tend to check LJ, then FB. I have an easier time keeping in touch with people via FB, but I like the more in-depth communication of LJ. So I do them both, and have it in balance.

Me too. But whenever I make a peep on LJ now, I feel like I'm talking to a wall. So maybe that's why. I need to rebuild a legion of interested parties. ?

Facebook really IS a lot easier, even though the interactions there are much more shallow than they are on lj. I like them both though, since I can have shallow or deep, depending on where I'm hanging out that day.
