Your discernment of the characters never fails to amaze me. I love the way you resolved the bitterness Fei has for his mother and the fact that the story seamlessly fit with the manga. It's nothing short of brilliant. It was also nice to see some insight on Yan's character. I've always felt he's one of the under-explored characters and I refuse to believe that he's as shallow as the manga made me believe.

Btw, Mikhail is awfully yummy and I'm so glad to see him back to his former self.

P.S. We already know that Mikhail will give up everything he has for Fei but the way you made Mik deliver those lines made me starry eyed.XD

It is always a pleasure to read such a quality comment that makes up for the lack in quantity. While I don't think many ppl are still reading this, I'm so happy that the ones who stay do read seriously and are enjoying it. I'm really glad you like the backstory and feel that t blends well. It wasn't easy to fit a tale that long into one chapter >_< And Yan, I was afraid ppl wouldn't want to read him, but I itched badly to explore this under-explored character as you said. I'm glad many people here like it.

Mikhail has proven to be harder and harder to write lately ^^! But it seems I didn't mess up here so yayyy.

I've been longing for a chapter that contained an explaination on Fei Long's and his mother's past. This means a lot to me, because a part of me feared that this will bore the readers out, but I had faith in Fei fans who might be interested in his past, and

When I started to read CI I was really young...around 14 years old... I had started to read VF and got captivated by the mysterious and fierce beauty of our Dragon ^_^ being an appasionated reader and writer of yaoi fanfiction, I started to search the web for sme fics about him and Asami, since I was more an Asami x Fei fan... And I found on Google the seventh chapter of Cruel Intentions, that you had just published ^_^ the chapter where Asami rapes Fei... Now, I don't mind reading rape scenes in fics, and I loved the way you described it,the way you wrote how Asami took everything away from Fei...ant then I said: oh, my god this story really is beautiful! And In one night I read all the seven previous chapters ^_^ and I kept following the arc. Since now ^_^ oh, my god, if I think about it now...back in 2007 I was so young xD I shouldn't have been reading such fanfiction xD that's why I waited to be older than 18 to get an account and comment... But now that I'm 19 I guess it's ok to read this stuff without hiding xD
