Haven't seen Borat. Really don't plan to - but I quite enjoyed reading this, and feel like I have learned something about the true Kazakhstan from doing so. Well done, KJ!
Yeah Borat isn't quite my cup of tea either, so I wouldn't recommend it. Some people found it very hilarious. I don't particularly enjoy seeing fat completely naked men on screen. I'm sure there are clips floating around of the "best" parts so even if you did want to see something, you probably could and then save your eyes.
I figured that not everyone who reads the article might not watch the movie (but they probably know more or less what Borat is about). At least they'll know about Kazakhstan now!
