I have lost nearly all interest in fanfiction, reading and writing. Sorry, storyfan. I do still intend to finish, simply from my new mentality to finish everything I start creating. But that Cabin Pressure fic will be a long time coming, I'm sorry

In science fiction fandom there are two acronyms: FIAWOL - Fandom Is A Way Of Life; and FIJAGDH - Fandom is Just A God Damned Hobby. The understanding is that the first indicates those who are perhaps just a little too wrapped up in their fandom and the second indicates a more balanced, healthy way to be. It sounds like you fall into the latter. People and their interests change and it's perfectly ok to take a break or whatever you need to do. No one owes anyone anything in a fandom; any contribution should be considered a gift rather than an obligation. So thank you for your work and if you decide to do more then fine; if not, that's still fine. Good luck with whatever path you decide to take.
