Yesterday I gave blood for the first time ever. It wasn't all that bad actually. The only really bad part about it is that even though I had an appointment, I had to wait two hours before I could acrually get in a chair to give bllod. That was very very annoying. I got a job!! I will now be tutoring kids in Portland on Mondays and Thursdays. I also get payed for the drive there. So, even though over the two days I will only technichally be working four hours I will get payed for eight! I start on Thursday and I can't wait to make some money!

I have recently become obsessed with another anime. Zach, a guy who lives down the hall let me borrow Fullmetal Alchemist and I couldn't stop watching it. I watched sixteen episodes today and I would have watched more if he had had more. I am now in the process of downloading the rest, but it is going to take forever and I really want it now.

Today was a very good day. My First Year Seminar class was canceled because our professor was sick and she told us that we don't have to do the assigned reading for Wednesday because we still have to discuss the reading from this weekend. This makes me happy because that means that I don't have to read fifty more pages of The Illiad tonight! ( Read more... )

Today was pretty fun. Tonight, my roommate and I went to the library where they were having a murder mystery extravaganda. We got to run around the library looking for clues trying to figure out who the murderer was. We got really into it.....we got the murderer wrong, but it was still a lot of fun ( Read more... )

The last few days have been pretty good. I'm getting somewhat used to living up here away from home. Yesterday I went into Portland with a big group. It was pretty fun, we just walked around for a few hours. I start my classes on Monday!
