I think gatsby and humperdink used their greed differently. Gatsby throwing parties for the sake of he can, while humperdink was more of a hoarder of wealth.

They way they're shown are different i think. Gatsby's wealth being very detailed, humpderdinks wealth was more alluded too.

I don't know, i don't think they're similar at all, but, you're writing the comparison so as long as it makes sense, it will be alright.

um....humperdink is compared to tom. not Gatsby. The bit about Gatsby's parties is talking about the societies showing off wealth.

Gatsby is going to be compared to Westly. which, i assure you, makes more sense.
