Funny thing is, the loss of Castiel didn't fully hit me until this episode. As I was watching I had a stray thought that Dean could really use Cas right now. Then I remembered he's dead too and I was even more heartbroken.
My favourite memory is a toss-up between the last one and the one where him and wee!Dean are playing ball. That was just so lovely and, in the context of the episode, completely heartbreaking.
I'm totaly fine with spoilers :) I think I've seen the spoiler in question and It has made me optimistic too. Hesitantly. lol I know this show too well.
I won't spoil you the first 5 seasons but this show likes to Harsh on Everyones Mello. I swear, emotionaly torturing our boys is the second theme of the show. (I maintain that 'Daddy Issues' is the primary theme. Everyone has them. Seriously.)
I hope you get to watch the first 5 seasons, they're definately worth it :)

All through it I was going "He's not going to die...he's not going to die." *sob*
I'm literally still crying over Castiel, I'm not sure I can take Bobby as well.
That last scene and his happiest memory was so sweet.
