I wrote this pre-JE, and yes, I cried while writing this. Because, well---it hurts. Although JE makes it a little better, strangely...

Oh that was just so heart-wrenching, and all the hints and references - not just saying it but making the reader remember the actual events - makes it all so much sadder. Dont suppose a sequel where the Doctor comes back and... you know... beats the living daylights out of Pete is possible...?

This is good, can't say I enjoyed it or why I read this you did say you shouldn't if you have problems with abuse - and God knows I do - but this is so real, I wish the doctor / or Mickey was there to beat that b***((((d up. She doesn't know it but he doesn't love her, its all about himself, what he wants, a totally selfish act. (I do realise that "Pete" is in fact her Step Father sort of but that doesn't make it any better) I hope, and i know this is only fiction but if you write a sequel I hope you can write in somewhere that Rose doesn't need to blame herself - its not her fault.
