you're on a router right? check the router website see if there is firmware to download, follow the instructions... that's what i had to do a bit ago... also have you tried like removing power from the router and broadband supplier box thing? we have to do that every now and then in this house too! Hope i've been of some help. I did it kinda selfishly, i'm a mess and i need my pandy *cries and curls up where pandy would be*
ok, a few possibilities. but first some questions. 1) what sort of connection are you on? (dial up, broadband, cable) 2) Which ISP you with (ntl, pipex, freeserve,bt,etc)
poss:- your router cache is full - see nuty knitters advice your isp is updating your service and thus testing things so it'll be a bit shit for a few days-week, Something somewhere is buggered You have reached the limits of your connection (download ratios etc)
my best bet is if you turn off/on ur router it'll be better, or alternatively the isp is dicking about, theres a lot of that at the mo without anyone telling anyone. Suppose if your on wireless it could just be one of those things, sometimes the wireless needs to be restarted or it looses connectivity for no good reason.
what he said, if you are wireless the routers need to be power cycled more frequently. I never thought about isps dicking around though lol mine is pretty stable and they don't have downtime often. call ISP :P Love you pandy
There may be an elf picture... Although, once again, my elf costume is far from jolly/festive and is more akin to the hooded cloak of the Grim Spectre of Death...
