For my whole life, I've somehow been able to keep secret the fact that my one and only fear is fire. Now, the last person in the world that I would want to know something like that found out because he was playing with his lighter in the hall and I freaked out when he started waving it in my face. I know him all too well. He's going to exploit this ( Read more... )

The only way to do that is the hard way.
Overexposure.
Get a book of matches and light them until it doesn't bother you... although, you might waste a lot of matches that way.

Of course, if it REALLY bothers you, you might have to get someone else to do that.

Maybe you shouldn't listen to me though.
I'm afraid of balloons and I haven't really been able to get over it.

I'm really afraid of fire too, but quite frankly, if Mandy's advice doesn't help, then there's nothing you can do. Since he's going to tell the whole school, you can always tell anyone that asks it's a lie. If you don't feel like doing that, then if your friends make fun of you for it, they aren't really your friends.

He's not going to tell the whole school. Only a few people in game club know about it now and they don't have any reason to spread it around. For the most part, we're all friends, even the guy I was talking about who will probably be driving me insane with the fire. Me and him just like teasing each other (it's sort of a love-hate type thing)

I've never lit a match before. I really don't like the idea of having fire that close to my hand. I guess I'll be getting overexposed now that a few of my pyro friends know how they can mess with me though -_-
