My newest summer playlist contains 1990s, Alphabeat, Animal Collective, Beck (the first three tracks on Guero always remind me of summer), Coconut Records, early Kinks, Lily Allen's second album, The Pains of Being Pure At Heart, and Vampire Weekend. And the Beach Boys, naturally.

I have Guero, and Gamma Ray is one of the dancey songs on my new playlist. Caved finally and downloaded Vampire Weekend. And The Kinks and Beach Boys are always favorites of mine, since I was teeny tiny.
