last minute

have you ever tried to make a stack of those small round magnets.
well, I always remembered being frustrated when I couldn't get them all to stick in a line,
Because there would be on random backwards one, and I would have to make sure they were all facing the right direction or else it just wouldn't work.
So I have a collection of all these random thoughts and ideas in my head,
but I'm having a hard time organizing them.
It just feels like something is in the way but I cant figure it out.

These last few days have been pretty awesome,
but I feel like I havn't fully been able to appreciate them.

Stephanie and I went on a random adventure the other day.
I was going to drive Josh and Leanne and Mike slightly into the mountains
so they could hitch out west.
Then Steph decided to come with me so we could spend a day in the mountains.
Probably find a little place pretty close to have a little picnie at or something.
She starts school on tuesday and has been talking about wanting to get to the mountains for a day before that.
So we headed out, we got to Idaho springs and stopped for gas and to ask for opinions on a good place to hike.
A nice man gave us very detailed direction to a place in Georgetown,
but by the time we got to that exit we were getting so used to the road and the mountains and were itching for some adventure, so we decided to just keep going and spend the night somewhere.
We stopped at a thriftstore along the way for a sleeping bag and cheap winter jackets and a pan.
We made it out to glenwood springs, there's a nice hot spring there, and made a campfire nearby and slept on the ground. In the morning we went into town and had breakfast at a little diner, then we parted ways.
I'm glad I got to spend a little more time with those kids instead of just a short drive.
I hope all of their adventures go well.
Steph and I headed back toward denver. Feeling a little sleep deprived, with the itch of adventure wearing off pretty fast.
We stopped at the hanging lake area to take pictures.
It was beautiful. but still I kinda just felt like going home.
That's what I mean, I can't appreciate things like I should, I just feel so restless.
And That's kinda what I was hoping for, some rest.
Walking through Idaho springs was a little better.
Steph was looking for some new cowboy boots and I was excited for icecream.
A little old lady in a gem and fossil shop talked my ear off and steph spent an hour in a bead shop.
On the way out we picked up a hitchiker and he gave us candy.
(dont worry it was just a kid who works a ski resort trying to meet some friends in the city for a a show)
we found it humorous that alot those things, are things your parents tell you not to do.
But all in all it was an interesting and harmless adventure.
