I'm still listening to Sufjan Christmas songs on repeat.
Which is why I'm really excited they sang a bunch of them at ORB last night.

I think that's one of the only places that still feels like home here.

The one thing I miss more than anything.
I just feel so wonderfully happy with those people.

I'm trying to find a good way to explain the way being back here makes me feel.
And it's a very difficult thing to pinpoint, but whatever it is, it's wierd.
It's sort of as like when you're on vacation in a warm place, like florida,
so you get on the plane in your shorts and t-shirt and mickey mouse shirt,
and you get back home and it's nighttime and snowing and everyone has their christmas lights on,
and you still smell like the beach and you're still wearing shorts and sandals.
I think it might be like that sort of displaced feeling.
I mean, I really love being here, it's just even wierder than I thought.
It sort of makes me miss the people who make me feel like myself the most.
i love people (and photoshop)

PS I have a new hobby that I quite enjoy. which is a wierd one, if you know me. but i love it.

I think about how we could run away
Now that it's Christmas time
We travel in a one-horse open sleigh
Now that it's Christmas time

merry christmas
