Now, I'm not any kind of Genius or nothing, but I understood Polyamory to be a sort of Binary issue, it was something you were, or something you wern't...

This isn't to say that a Monogamous girl cant date multiple people (some vertical bipeds would call that dating in the classical Don Johnson sense,) or that a Polyamourous individual cant be dating a single person, (in some cases referred to as downtime, in others, shit for luck.)

But the choice of Poly or Mono seems to be much like the other pivotal choices in out lives, Gay/Straight, Christian/Every other fucking religion on the planet, or most importantly, white or wheat. Its all in what you feel. the trouble is getting to a point where you can clearly see yourself without 400 other things getting in the way. I hope you find out what you truly want.

The walk to identifying as being bisexual has been a rather long one for me, so I can understand how all these different lables could be a bit confusing and maybe even overwhelming at times. I think the important thing, and the great thing for you, is having wonderful and caring people in your life who accept you. And having all the do's and don'ts clearly spoken so that everyone remains happy.
