A small life lesson

Oct 05, 2009 06:54

And the lesson for today is: when tangling with a water pipe that won't close, don't waste your time unless you have access to the cut-off valve. The water pressure will always win and leave you manliness and pride a sodden, drippy mess.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to go wring more water out of my tail. ¬¬

where's a plummer when you need one?

First rule of plumbing: cut off the water supply first. The pressure is always greater than you expect.

I would have done it, really, but the cut off valve was inaccesible at that time. ^^;

Gah....I remember when my cousin did that....Ouch...you're poor semi-innocent manliness....

Best of luck drying off. And mistakes happen. <=)
