Descaretes Revision Part I *Smiles*

Well, as the title says, here's the beginning of the Descaretes Revision.

for the uninterested, it's behind a cut :)

I guess what I'll do here is just outline what I need to do, and then I'll start working on each part in some sort of order (as yet to be determined). So without further adue, here's what needs to be done:

1) Map(s) - I've got a rough sketch, but I need to put political boundries and some other minor terrain features.

2) History - Got to put down which events happen when. I also need to figure out how much detail to put into things. Also need a creation of the world, which is another tricky issue.

3) Religion - This always must be dealt with. If you ignore it, it means that your world is atheist. As I'm not, and any world I create reflects me in some part, my world shouldn't be either. So the issue's gotta be dealt with. I think the system I've been using can/should be tweaked and made more workable though.

4) Culture/Nations - This fits very much in with History. It should be obvious why it should be dealt with, and I think I'll devote a seperate section to each nation and culture.

5) Role/Explanation of Magic - leaving that magic just 'works' can be all very well and good, but at least one person (me) should know how it works :). That and it helps to see how it would mesh with Culture, Nations, History and (most importantly) Religion

6) Physical Plot Hooks - In the real world, dungeon crawling doesn't really exist. The closest we get would be cave explorers and the like. So to keep the feel of a fantasy work, I'd like to integrate at least a few physical locations for "Dungeoneering" in a manner of speaking.

I think that should cover everything...
