Jay is doing better, now. He will be on crutches till August. turns out that it is a cyst on his hip (and possible hair line fractures). they are going to watch it and see if it goes down/away. He is enjoying being in class. My geek has started to soak up the training like a sponge.
He was told (much to his happiness) that the chance of a medical discharge is not an option. since he has 2 brain cells that will bounce off of each other and produce a thought they wanna keep him. If they end up doing surgery he has been told the chance of him seeing a combat zone (even as a FOBbit *A FOBit is someone who lives on the FOB (Forward Operating Base) and never gets off the base until he flies home*) are so low it is not even funny. I, as his wife, am very happy for this.
