Many words here are misspelled, apologies to my jewish friends.

Thanks to Ryan's ex Erin I got to see Leonard Nemoy when he came through will Hil-El house to promote his book on the Shehima. The Feminine aspect of god. Since you're trying to write down words in Latin characters that are written in a completely different alphabet, there's some leeway available.

"Hillel" is not one of those words. Since it's a name of a registered corporate entity, it is only spelled that way.

I would also correct "Shechina" as the final syllable is a different phoneme.

Tephillin or tefillin is spelled so many different ways it hardly matters anymore.

And as long as I'm in a copy editing mood, "Jewish" is always capitalized ;)

Not that transparency for me is you're responsibility, but I don't understand the subject on this one.

Yikes. Even when correcting spelling of Jewish term, The Rule applies!

Your kind instruction on how to spell those terms included a typo of your own. ;)

Admittedly, The Rule is really about snarky correction of someone's spelling, so maybe this is a different rule, or a corollary of the same.
