These may need to become semi-annual rather than quarterly. Or I could stop playing Candy Crush and go back to reading more...
Movies and TV seasons, in chronological order. * means I've seen it/read it before, bold means I can't believe I haven't.
April
- Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Yes. Very much yes.)
- Tower Heist (I've had this from Netflix since August. Oops.)
- Rick and Morty, Season 1 (Who needs an origin story? If the show is a series of adventures, why worry about identifying the first adventure? This cut straight to "aw man, not again" in the first episode. Kinda liked that.)
- Beautiful Creatures (2013) (I've had this one from Netflix since September. It's nice to feel sort of caught up.)
May
- Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues (Someone told me I would enjoy it, even though I don't tend to be a Will Ferrell fan. It was fine, but I wouldn't say I "liked" it.)
- This Is the End (Much better. Very fun.)
- Flakes (I think it was in my Netflix queue because of Zooey Deschanel. Cute, but nothing spectacular.)
- X-Men Origins: Wolverine* (Refresher.)
- X-Men: First Class* (Refresher.)
- X-Men: Days of Future Past
June
- The Woman in Black
- The Avengers* (Time to start MCU Phase 2 with my sister. Obviously, we needed a refresher on where we left off...)
- Iron Man 3*
- The Iceman (So not my style, but I was curious what attracted Chris Evans to the movie. Still don't know.)
- Not Another Teen Movie*
Books...
April- Life After Life by Kate Atkinson (Book club. I kept thinking of Groundhog Day, but not quite as tedious.)
- The Time Keeper by Mitch Albom (Recommended by my aunt ages ago.)
- Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell (Book club selection from September 2013. It took a while to get this from the library. I tried to read it quickly for the benefit of the next person on the wait list.)
May - I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai (Book club.)
June
- Bloodlines by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines #1)
- Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns) by Mindy Kaling (Audiobook.)
- The Golden Lily by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines #2)
- The Indigo Spell by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines #3)
- The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead (Bloodlines #4)
- You Don't Sweat Much for a Fat Girl: Observations on Life from the Shallow End of the Pool by Celia Rivenbark (Started in Sept. '13, short pieces good for reading while waiting for stuff. Didn't like it, though, and I have no interest in picking up anything else she's written.)
- Kasher in the Rye: The True Tale of a White Boy from Oakland Who Became a Drug Addict, Criminal, Mental Patient, and Then Turned 16 by Moshe Kasher (who's been very fun to watch on @midnight)
