what do you have the most interest in?
yamapi: kidou (airway); i have to breathe
koyama: karate is budou (martial arts) right? then, karate-dou
ryo: kadou (flower arrangement)
shige: chadou/sadou (tea ceremony)
massu: budou (martial arts); i like karate too, and fighting/battling
tegoshi: juudou (a form of martial arts)
2. if you were to eat out on a first date, what kind of place will you go to?
yamapi: a place she would seem to like ... an extravagant... italian place
koyama: japanese cuisine in a private room
ryo: to some extent, a fancy place
shige: nabe ryouri (cooking things in a pot) in a private room
massu: japanese style food
tegoshi: i'd take her somewhere that i normally go to eat (like a cafe maybe)
3. please teach us a business term
yamapi: "zagin" (laughs) = ginza
koyama: "ketsukacchin" = limit the time (for shooting of commercials & movies, interviews, etc.) in order to stick to the schedule
ryo: "maku" = to shorten the time
shige: "che-man" = ichiman en (10,000 yen)
massu: "shinme" = comes from "symmetry" (T/N: i.e. when dancing)
tegoshi: bamiri = a landmark that is used to indicate someone's or something's position
4. what knitted items do you own?
yamapi: hat
koyama: sweater
ryo: i have lots of sweaters (all of them cashmere!)
shige: i always wear them [not sure? original text was: ひととおり持ってるよ]
massu: i'm sensitive to heat so there's no right time to wear knits
tegoshi: knit cap
5. when the snow piles up, how would you play in the snow?
yamapi: i'd eat (koyama, who is beside him, said "that is too wild (laughs)")
koyama: i'd make a small snowman
ryo: i'd throw it [not sure? original text was: 何して遊ぼう、投げるんちゃうかな]
shige: snowball fight
massu: snowball fight
tegoshi: i'd go snowboarding
6. among news members, who likes to talk a lot?
yamapi: isn't it tegoshi?
koyama: shige
ryo: massu

7. which one do you dislike? going to the dentist or getting an injection?
yamapi: dentist
koyama: injection
ryo: dentist
shige: injection (but i don't really mind either one)
massu: (replying immediately) injection, injection!
tegoshi: i don't mind either one (it's nothing)
8. do your hands and feet get cold easily?
yamapi: i don't let them get cold
koyama: they get cold easily
ryo: they get cold
shige: they're alright (T/N: meaning they don't get cold easily)
massu: they don't get cold easily
tegoshi: they don't get cold
9. if you were to reward yourself for working hard, what would you go eat?
yamapi: a gyuudon store's kimchi gochujang, tamagokakegohan (rice mixed with egg)
koyama: yakiniku
ryo: a lot of ramen
shige: sushi
massu: i'd go shopping (if i really have to say, i think my mom's gyoza)
tegoshi: whatever's good (because i don't really care about food)

this year too continues from last year, let's play that game where we raise a thoroughbread horse. tegoshi knows many technical terms, and that's good but he said he would teach me the strongest combinations [T/N: for raising the horses]. i was counting on him, but he hasn't told me any! hurry up and teach me!
