1. how old were you when you learned how to ride a bike?
yamapi: 4 years old; i was the first kid in the neighbourhood to learn, really
koyama: around the 2nd year of elementary school; i don't really remember
ryo: 4 years old
shige: 1st year of elementary school
massu: kindergarten
tegoshi: 1st year of elementary school
2. speed-eating or eating large quantities of food, which would you pick? (i believe this refers to eating contests.. i didn't know how to translate 大食い xD)
yamapi: eat a lot
koyama: speed-eating
ryo: hmm.. i wouldn't do it!
shige: speed-eating
massu: speed-eating
tegoshi: speed-eating!
3. a simple meal that you make yourself
yamapi: udon
koyama: chinese-style fried rice
ryo: somen
shige: oyakodon (chicken and egg on rice)
massu: sunny side up eggs
tegoshi: curry & hamburger
4. if you were to go on a leisurely trip, which would you pick: looking at the scenery through a car window, enjoying the train, looking at the horizon on a ship/boat?
yamapi: either one
koyama: train, train
ryo: i like to walk, so i'll take a plane and just normally walk around town
shige: train
massu: looking outside through the window in the train is good
tegoshi: i don't like being alone so i don't like any of them; if i'm not alone, then maybe the train
5. what dessert can you eat after meals?
yamapi: (before the interviewer finished saying the question) i don't need any!
koyama: ice cream; vanilla ice cream, ne
ryo: i don't really eat any
shige: almond jelly; after eating yakiniku, almond jelly is a must
massu: ice cream; i like salted ice cream
tegoshi: melon
6. what do you say to a friend who confessed to someone and got turned down?
yamapi: don't mind
koyama: there's more than one woman! (it says オンナはひとりじゃない！..which i thought said "women are not alone" at first.. but this makes more sense lol)
ryo: i would ask them "you got turned down?"
shige: i'm here (for you)!
massu: i'd invite them, "let's hang out!"
tegoshi: You can do it! (in english)
7. if you were to compare summer to a color?
yamapi: this color! this color conveys it (white and light blue)
koyama: white!!
ryo: blue
shige: orange
massu: orange
tegoshi: yuzu; because it's a summer color *laughs* (it's a type of citrus fruit that's yellow in color); wblueskyw also pointed out that yuzu is also a band that has a song called summer colour which tegomasu sang on one of the shows
8. a summer item that you recently got
yamapi: necklace; it's cute and turquoise. i'm wearing it today too
koyama: tanktop/sleeveless shirt; and also a banana *laughs*
ryo: t-shirt
shige: i want beach sandals; you see it's because i'm the indoors type
massu: t-shirt
tegoshi: i received a lot of jerseys
9. out of all the members, who would you choose as a representative for a quiz show?
yamapi: i guess kazama-kun
koyama: shige (immediate reply)
ryo: either me or shige; you want to avoid koyama
shige: nishikido-kun
massu: shige
tegoshi: nishikido-kun; he's the king of miscellaneous knowledge. he knows everything.
10. please draw a cicada/locust (semi in japanese; i also translated the writing with some of the drawings)
yamapi: locusts are the only thing, locusts are the only thing, really, locusts are the only thing that i don't want to come. there's no way i could draw one, right?
koyama: 7 day battle
