for my birthday my parents said they would pay for a 2 day pass to the festival (sat and sun) and camping BUT only if my dad drives us over aand stays at the campground (boo).

the plan would be: he drives us over earrrrly saturday morning and drops us off at the gorge while he goes off and does boring dad things for the day. at
