Off to see the Wizard and it's -20 outside....
I am going to see Harry Potter today, I am so excited. A few things before I leave though:
1. I was so excited to see a movie with Chris Pine and Tom Hardy together but I can't see it because there are two things in it I loathe more than anything.
Look at this description for this movie:
Two lifelong best friends wage an epic battle against one another after they both fall in love with the same woman.
You have two awesomesauce actors like Tom and Chris for this shit? And the woman is Reese Witherspoon whose acting makes me want to claw my eyes out. Sometimes the universe vexes me. Maybe this is to make up for two of my childhood crushes portraying the best married couple on TV along with two of my fave females characters of all time, I don't know but it seems awfully unfair.
2. The Cowboy and Aliens trailer is freakin' horrible and amazing at the same time. It's like Iron Man means ET/ Invasion but with an awesome cast and Daniel Craig look sexy as a cowboy who takes down aliens with his special bracelet.
3. The Warrior's way will probably be a special kind of bad, but since most comedies rely on making fun of people or sex jokes, I guess I need movies like this to get some laughs?

Ahh well, movie land has always sucked but at least TV land in the last two years had really picked up the slack.
