I just got Sherlock on Blu ray but I hear I have to wait until 2012 for new eps.

Bwah?! I seem to remember osmosing from somewhere that filming starts in May, so I certainly hope that episodes will be airing sooner than 2012. Also, yes, BC has an awesome voice. I actually did a kind of double-take the first time I heard him speak.

(Also, I am floored by the amount of snow that seems to have buried the pretty much the entirety of North America. I suspect my car will be immovable until spring.)

welcome to the world of BBC/ITV show love..their seasons are short and you have to wait a year. the only reason I'm okay with it is that I'm used to it by now, but my first BBC shows, I wasn't, I was like WTF? FIVE EPISODES?? now it's old hat. So I feel for you, I've been there.

The snow is never-ending which makes me sad. I hear we get a break next week and some warmer weather so fingers crossed.

I am so pouty face about waiting until 2012; I am so glad I have other fandoms to distract me in the mean time. I hope he appears in some cool movie soon, I would like to see more work from him before 2012.

I'm not looking forward to the American version of Being Human either.

Benedict does have one hell of a great voice..have you ever heard Ben Daniels from Law and Order UK, it goes right to my panties :)

Just saw your comment and had to concur that Ben Daniels voice is hotness. I really dig "Law & Order: UK".

Ben Daniels voice does things to me I tell ya; I don't know what I would do if I met that man in person. Probably whimper a whole lot.

I'm so on the fence about "Being Human" on SyFy (god I hate that name, I'm sticking with Space since that's the channel it will air on in Canada). I really like the original show because it's got a nice blend of humour and the supernatural and the cast works really well together. The American one is...I don't know. I'm giving it a shot because I loved Sam Witwer on "Smallville". Seriously, I stayed with "Smallville" until he got killed off because he was wonderful in the role.

Kevin Alejandro is made of awesome. I find him insanely attractive and the fact the he can actually act is the icing on the cake :-) I highly recommend "Southland". I think it's one of the best ensembles on tv right now and wish I didn't have to rely on the internet to keep up with the show. Alejandro is one of many characters but it's a good part. Definitely see it!

So that is his name, thank you. I love Sam Witwer; shame on SyFy for casting such amateurs in the same show with him. The other actors scream newbie; I just hope they can pull their own weight soon. I foresee the first couple of eps being awkward.

Kevin is a beautiful man; I just love him to pieces. Boy am I glad I will have him and many other great people to look forward to when I get into Southland.

ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmgggggggggggggggggggggggggg. You MUST get Southland. Season 3 has just started on TNT a week and a half ago and it is far too incredible for words.♥♥♥
Probably one of the best tv shows currently around, and you KNOW that is saying a hell of a lot.
It's incredibly serious, but incredibly good and gritty and just REAL.

Kevin Alejandro has a fairly significant role. Unlike most shows, there are no lead actors, just a true ensemble, Kevin being one of the five more main ensemble characters.
Michael Cudlitz is spectacular though, Regina King is divine, and even Ben Mckenzie is really great.
GOOD CAST.

ps. ODED FEHR IS TOO MANY KINDS OF BEAUTIFUL.

Good to hear; I love ensemble shows; especially shows that really try to develop all of their characters so Southland sounds like a great fit for me. I tried to make Hawaii Five 0 my new cop show but it isn't as ensemble as I had hoped.

I am avoiding re-watching Resident Evil Extinction because I love Oded in ways that are kind of pathetic and watching him get it from zombies is something I would like to avoid.

I love Hawaii Five-O, but I completely get what you mean... there really isn't much in the way of character development or even insight, and when there it's ALL for Danno and Steve.

Chin Ho and Kono get ZIP. Especially Kono... who is probably the least developed character on the show.

The big dude Kamekona is more developed than her!!

WOMEN? SCHWOMEN.

Ugh.

WATCH SOUTHLAND. Lydia kicks all arse ever. AND CHICKIE. Shows need more strong women.

It's a pre-requisite for all shows I plan to invest in time and money-wise; all characters must have some development and the women are not allowed to be in the background. All the shows I love vary in quality plot wise; I can be honest about that but my fannish involvement dwindles to zip as soon as the women are ignored. I am hoping season two will develop Kono and Chin more; and I don't mean love interests either. Silly writers.

I am very excited for Southland; I hope TNT keeps up with the box-sets since I am so behind.

Oh Resident Evil. I recently watched the third one again, and I still spend the entire thing in a state of, "CARLOS, NOOOOOO!!!!"

I'm going to mentally rewrite the third movie and have Carlos and Jill run off to bring down Umbrella.

'I'm going to mentally rewrite the third movie and have Carlos and Jill run off to bring down Umbrella.'

I have to keep this in mind when I eventually re-watch Extinction. Boy is going to be hard though. Poor Carlos.
