Season Wind down and start up anticipation posts
Ok, I am so freakin' excited for the new Doctor Who and Game of Thrones so I have been mulling over my shows to see how they rank on the epic scale.:) Mostly, I want an excuse to use my new icon. OMG AGoT is taking over my fandom life.:)
NCIS LA --
This season has been pretty awesome and has really picked up and built on their overall story lines. The rumors for the last three eps are either going to be freakin' awesome or pretty bad depending on how they play it. My only real fear is that G is going to cut and run on Sam again but even that could lead to some awesome development come season three. I am going to have faith and say this: Dracul Comescu, lone wolf, Sam and G in suits, Hetty luv, team outing to another country, Familia. I am in favor of all of that being awesome in an epic, bad-ass, team love, geekery kind of way.:) FINAL VERDICT: Leaning on the side of shit getting real and EPIC.
TVD Season One --
it pains me to be a season behind on this show but hello Katherine and welcome.:) Also hey Tyler glad to see you about to take on more meatier material and Uncle John is a scary bad-ass that got owned by an even scarier bad-ass. I am terribly worried about Caroline and Damon is breaking my heart and freaking me out. Cannot wait for season two box-set!!
FINAL VERDICT: Kinda cheated somewhat with this one but I am almost 100% that season two will own season one.:)
Fringe Season Two:
Finished the box-set, whoohoo for the alternate verse. Not sure how I feel about Olivia's confession to Peter. I ship them but the confession seemed so out of place for me I was hoping it was Alt!Olivia. Walternate is cold man and I love it.
FINAL VERDICT: They brought Charlie back so everything else is gravy, leaning on the side of EPIC. A little afraid that the ending for season three is going to break my heart A LOT:(
Nikita up to date --
Hello Ray Park you awesome bad-ass you and my sweet Lauren from Lost Girl kicking ass, oh man this show loves me something hard. Also, Percy and Amanda are making me nervous in a bad way. I worry for Michael. I want to go on and on how I love how Michael is a soldier at heart and needs to belong to something, as does Alex which is why they will never stop fighting. Nikita will fight only when she needs too; she isn't a soldier at heart. And whoohoo for Jaden getting more development and Owen making it.
FINAL VERDICT: It will be a crime if this show isn't renewed, I can see so many possibilities and so many ways that this show can be dynamic and fresh.
Game of Thrones Pilot --
Perfect casting and settings and I think I will write a proper review when I see the second ep. I am in love and still reading the books, just started A Storm of Swords and eager to get more into it.
FINAL VERDICT: I already know the EPIC is coming and so far HBO is bringing it to life on screen.:)
