You just said what I'm thinking about "Alcatraz". The same thing over and over again is why I stopped watching.

Alcatraz isn't going anywhere fast which doesn't make sense since they should be trying harder to get renewed.

I feel the same way about Alcatraz. I was hoping that it was actually a sci-fi show but it ended up being an "escapee of the week" one. It's dull, uninspiring and the cast is not good at all. I am disappointed in Sam Neill. He's so overacting. I don't think it'll get another season because the ratings are bad.

Yeah escape of the weeks are about as bad procedurals and there are tons of those out there so why bother?
It's sad because I enjoyed the cast but it's directionless.
