Although the title is "Loyalty," it sounds more like "Betrayal." I can't dry my eyes for the life of me. *hugs her 13 year old pup* Thanks for sharing.

This story definitely needs to be published and posted at shelters so that people who even consider doing this to their pets can read it. Finding a better home for your best friend is the least a pet owner can do in the event that they cannot take care of it anymore. *fumes*
