I Can Has Macintosh!
After saving, scraping, and some generous donations from friends, I now have an exact duplicate of my Mac (via ebay)!
Yay!

... it's not really an exact duplicate -- this one has twice the RAM! Woo! -
Requiem for a Mac
I just put in the new power supply and hit the power button.
Nothing. The machine is dead.
Digital photography, video editing, music composition... gone.
A new Mac costs around $2700.
