A/N: Written for week 9 at sortinghatdrabs. The drabble had to be 300 words long and the prompt was flaw. I won third place (will include the banner when I get it).
Hermione sighed contently, basking in the afterglow of her last orgasm. She turned her head to the side, where Draco lay, just as spend as she was and taking up most of the space in the bed as usual. He lazily tugged on a strand of her hair that spread all over the pillows in a tangled mess and had gotten into his face.
"One of these days I'm going to accidentally suffocate while we have sex," he commented, though the barb lacked any sort of hostility.
"If you die while in bed with me, I can promise you it won't be by accident," Hermione retorted, smacking his chest.
Draco immediately captured her hand, biting her palm lightly. Hermione tried to pull back, but he didn't let go of her wrist. Hermione glared at him. The effect was ruined, however, by the tremors that chased through her body when he licked the inside of her hand.
They had a perfect arrangement. The perfect affair. There was no personal commitment, no relationship beyond the physical. Just sex-lots of it. Who would have known that their enmity and frustration with each other would translate directly into mind-blowing, earth-shattering sex?
He smiled at her then-not one of his usual smirks or sneers, but an honest smile that caused Hermione's breath to catch in her throat and made her body tingle in ways his tongue could not.
"I need to get going," Hermione suddenly announced, snatching her hand from his grasp and getting up from the bed. She collected her clothes and fled into the bathroom, shutting the door behind her. Alone, she leaned heavily against the sink, trying to get her breathing under control.
They had an almost perfect arrangement; an almost perfect affair. There was only one flaw.
