Grasshoppers and chickens: Possibly a re-post-not sure!!!

What a combo right? But that is what I have pictures of on my camera from today and yesterday. You ask why????

Well, I can't really explain the chickens...I noticed them a few times as I was driving to work in the city of new brunswick...and the first few times I didn't have my camera. Well on my way home yesterday I DID have it and as I passed their usual corner...they were there, and so I took there photo! I just thought it was amusing that two chickens were on a street corner in the middle of a city!

And then this evening...as ben was standing in our doorway smoking...he looked over at my laptop bag...and I had an unwelcome guest sitting on my CDcase IN my bag....
Then the little sucker decided to get a bit closer and started climbing up the case (of course I am guessing my camera flash did not discourage him-this is why if I was ever being chased by a monster I would get killed-b/c I would try to take his picture first!)
Anyway...here he is getting closer to me....
So after he got closer he decided to JUMP-scared the crap out of me even though I saw him winding up-his antenas going in circles! He moved to the bed room and I started freaking b/c I wasn't about to go to bed anytime tonight if he was jumping around in there! Then he jumped onto the end table by the bedroom door and as ben went over to get him he THANKFULLY jumped onto the DVD case before going to the bedroom so we caught him there nad got him outside.
Of course in the middle of his jumping my phone rings and I answer it and its one of ben's mom's friends RSVPing for her party and I screached while we were on the phone b/c the grasshopper had jumped again. I bet she thinks I am crazy.....OYE!
So THAT my friends was my exciting evening...how was all of yours???
