tobiascharity 1: Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 18, find line 4. Write down what it says:
with the look of determined self-satisfaction of someone
2: Stretch your left arm out as far as you can. What do you touch first?
The wall.
3: What is the last thing you watched on TV?
The Juno awards, specifically that bit where they had Three Days Grace, Finger Eleven, Billy Talent, and Simple Plan one after the other. Fun.
4: WITHOUT LOOKING, guess what time it is:
9:04.
5: Now look at the clock, what is the actual time?:
8:50. Huh.
6: With the exception of the computer, what can you hear?:
People talking.
7: When did you last step outside? what were you doing?
Almost two hours ago. I was exiting the car and entering the school, where I now am, due to some horrendous universal injustice.
8: Before you came to this website, what did you look at?
Well, I tried looking at the purplebrickroad.net POTC vid
tobiascharity recommended, but it loaded only audio (sob!). So. Last thing I succesfully looked at? Jack's. Too sexy for his hat. Too sexy for his hat, what d'you think about that?
9: What are you wearing?
Blue jeans, black t-shirt with obnoxioux neon parrot on it. Required undergarments. Black sneakers. What are you wearing?
10: Did you dream last night?
Yes. Yes, I did.
11: When did you last laugh?
About five minutes ago. Jack's. Too sexy for his car. Too sexy for his car. Too sexy by far...
12: What is on the walls of the room you are in?:
Students' artwork - I'm in the school library.
13: Seen anything weird lately?:
Well, Allan just left the library.
14: What do you think of this quiz?:
A good waste of time.
15: What is the last film you saw?:
Secret Window (fourth time).
16: If you became a multi-millionaire overnight, what would you buy first?:
A really, really good laptop.
17: Tell me something about you that I don't know:
I'm secretly obsessed with Johnny Depp. Oh, fine. Um... When I was a little kid, I wanted a multi-coloured pet hamster. And by multi-coloured I don't mean, like, brown and white - I mean, rainbow. Yeah. Can't remember what I was going to name the thing. Something repulsive. (Probably Rainbow.)
18: If you could change one thing about the world, regardless of guilt or politics, what would you do?:
It would be nice if no one was poor, but people being people, that would change soon enough. It would be nice if everyone was completely, utterly, unconditionally tolerant, but people being people, that would change soon enough. It would be nice if we could quit destroying our planet and its other occupants, and if we could stop trying to reach other planets so as to do the same thing there, and if we could quit using "we can" as a reason to experiment with things like cloning and newer, bigger, shinier weapons and start questioning whether or not we should. But people are people. So I don't know.
19: Do you like to dance?:
Does Captain Jack like Alcoholics Anonymous? Does Agent Sands like Hilary Duff? Does Kalio like Hilary Duff? (Does anyone like Hilary Duff?)
20: George Bush: probably likes Hilary Duff is he a power-crazy nutcase or some one who is finally doing something that has needed to be done for years?:
I don't know that he's power-crazy, or any kind of crazy. I think he's an idiot, and unfortunately an idiot with a lot of power. And I am eternally grateful he's not in charge of my country. (Not officially, at any rate.)
21: Imagine your first child is a girl, what do you call her?:
Imagine I have kids at all, and that takes enough of a stretch of the imagination.
22: Imagine your first child is a boy, what do you call him?:
Honestly, I--
Okay. I'd probably give them both Irish names, because some of Dad's obsession with all things Irish has been passed on to me. That said, for a boy? I've always liked the name Jack.
And all of you can shut up now, because by 'always' I mean 'since long before I saw POTC'. So shut up. Now.
23: Would you ever consider living abroad?:
If you sent me the money to do so? By all means. I would love to.

Mom took me to see Secret Window (my fourth; her first) Saturday night. Didn't start till 9:55, so we got home a little past midnight; she was completely wiped, and I ... well, I'd just seen Secret Window again.
Took a bunch of notes. I'd only planned to catch the exact wording of the 'bad writing' bit, and maybe a couple licence plates ... now I have pages of notes. It's reminiscent of the second OUATIM viewing, except I took less this time because I'd seen the movie more and therefore had more of the important lines memorized already, and I'm giving you unnecessary detail on something you don't care about, frankly.
Mom liked it, though she said it wasn't a 'feel-good' movie (it made me felt good) and went on to add that Johnny never plays sane characters. Okay, Mom. She also expressed amazement that, in all the happy babbling I've done about this movie, I've never mentioned he was insane. *shrug*
