Now that certain other people have seen it... I bring you - cut because it contains spoilers and incoherent babbling - the
I have so little I can actually say about it. If I'd updated immediately after watching it, it might've been better - but then again, it would probably have been even less coherent, seeing as (and I am not exaggerating) I was rather pale and shaky at the time.
Maybe I overreacted. Do you think I overreacted?
No, me neither. Well, it was worth a try.
That was quite possibly THE best season finale of anything I've ever seen.
I expected the anticipated death would be either Lindsay's or Harrison's, and I can tell you I was hoping for the former, as much as I like Lindsay. So when Harrison went down, aaauuughh! I didn't expect him to speak up after that, going by all the previews (someone Tru loves will DIE and there's nothingshecandoaboutit!) but then he did, and I was surprised but very thankful.
By the way, much love for Harrison at the wedding, glumly shredding a rose. And the Irish guy? Randall? Every time he came onscreen I was all, Irish! Accent! And
theanomaly just sort of tolerated my squeeing. And then Davis is describing him to Harrison and says, "He has an Irish accent ... which women always seem to find so appealing." *gape* HA.
There was much panicked objection sent at the TV screen during various scenes. ie. "NO! Harrison can't die!" and "Aaaa! No! Don't tell him that! Don't TELL him that!" and "Noooo, Jack...! Don't make me hate you..."
Which brings me to the real main other reason I'm talking about the finale at all: Jack Harper.
You see by my icon that I am a fangirl. (I see by your icon ... never mind.)
What can I say coherently? I started dreading the next time he'd appear onscreen, because he's so twistedly ... well, not evil. So DESTRUCTIVE. And so calm about it. So there was dread, yes, but dear GOD he's amazing. Amazing. And so totally my favourite character. It's a love-hate relationship.
I think I'll have to watch it again, you know.
